Recommended Reads

Recommended Reads are books suggested for their exceptional educational value. Some have received awards or been shortlisted for recognition. Numerous lists of these books can be found online. We recommend that all lists have an annual change of a few books.

When selecting a list, it's important to:

Consider the credibility and independence of the source, ensuring it recommends books from various publishers.
Check how current the books on the list are.
Determine whether the source is knowledgeable about which books are readily available for purchase.
Verify that the list includes a range of different text types.

Recommended Reads Order

Please use books from Narnia Libraries recommended lists. These are books that have won or been shortlisted for awards in recent years. This will include fiction, picture books, graphic novels, non fiction and poetry, unless otherwise requested.

Please use books from another list eg School Reading List. Please state
